PELCO® Pro High Precision Tweezers


The PELCO Pro High Precision tweezers are made from a non-magnetic, low carbon stainless steel. The tweezers exhibit good corrosion resistance to most chemicals, salts and acids. Typical applications for these tweezers include microscopy preparation, sample handling, precision manufacturing, electronic industry, watch making and general laboratory and medical applications. Although the tweezers are made from a non-magnetic alloy, they are not recommended for use where strong magnetic fields are present. Available in 13 styles and as a set in a top quality plastic wallet with foam lining.



PELCO® Pro High Precision PTFE Coated Tweezers


The PELCO® Pro High Precision tweezers are made from a non-magnetic, low carbon stainless steel coated with a solvent-based liquid PTFE coating formulated with special blends of fluoropolymers and other high performance resins to improve toughness and abrasion resistance. The tweezers exhibit good corrosion resistance to most chemicals, salts and acids. Typical applications for these tweezers include microscopy preparation, sample handling, precision manufacturing, electronics industry, watch making and general laboratory and medical applications. Although the tweezers are made from a non-magnetic alloy, they are not recommended for use where strong magnetic fields are present.

  • Non-stick
  • Low coefficient of friction: generally in the range of 0.20 to 0.25
  • Non-wetting: oleophobic and hydrophobic
  • Heat resistant: continuous use at temperatures up to 150°C (302°F), with intermittent service up to 200°C (392°F)
  • Unique electrical properties: high dielectric strength, low dissipation factor, and very high surface resistivity.
  • Cryogenic stability: may be used as low as -270°C (518°F)
  • Chemical resistance: good resistance to diluted acids, diluted and concentrated alkalis and organic solvents.
